SUMMER ON STAGE

MCT'S Youth Theatre Program
MCT brings theatre education (and more) back to the Murphys community with an intensive six-week summer program for youths aged 9-17. Classes range from acting techniques and voice work to set and costume design and much, much more. In partnership with Vallecito Unified School District, this program strives to support our local families with a resource for their children to pursue a fun and professional appreciation of the performing arts on every level.
All program courses are held at Murphys Creek Theatre

MCT Summer on Stage Youth Theatre Program
Goal: To create an immersive educational experience for youth to learn the full spectrum of live theatre, from production to performance.
Eligible Ages: 9 – 17
PROGRAM DATES: June 10th – July 21st, 2024
PROGRAM SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 10 AM – 4 PM.
Classes (10 AM – 1:30 PM)
Lunch Break (1:30 PM – 2 PM)
Play Rehearsals (2 pm – 4 PM)
Registration opens February 5th, 2024
Registration cutoff is May 26th, 2024
Tuition: $775.00*
Students will be entrenched in a multitude of professional theatre courses, finalizing their program experience with two performances of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream for their community on July 20th and 21st, 2024.
